New Music....New Info....Lets Go! Blog #1

***Update***First of all I would like to thank everyone out there for your submissions. I apologize for the late e-mail replies, but I didn't expect so many e-mails and tweets from yall! LOL! There is so much info out there that needs to be seen and heard, and I respect everyone's grind and hustle to the fullest! I will be posting everyone's submission in this blog and future blogs, so if you don't see yours yet...don't trip! They will definitely be shown very soon. Right now the submissions that were sent in January will be mentioned, and the next upcoming blogs will be in a week or two weeks since so many have been sent in. Once again thank you everyone, and spread the word about the website and email submissions or comments to: getthe411nation@gmail.com. My new Facebook for the site will be mentioned in the next blog, since a lot of folks have businesses, events, modeling etc. You will be able to post them on the wall, and no XXX material on the wall. Submit that info to the email! LOL! Yes I do write XXX blogs and help promote events info as well.

You may have seen Thesselonious in one of my previous blogs in a podcast tribute to the late great reggae legend, Gregory Issacs. Now Thesselonious is back with his new instrumental album, While I Was Curling My Blunt. This album will take you on a journey of not only seeing things from a smokers perspective, but appreciating the creation and the love of music. I love to smoke as well, and I saw myself relating to alot of records on this album. "Run" had me thinking about women because of the sensuality of the record, and then running from commitment and other things. Sometimes being high makes u think things like that ya know. "Unplesent Piano" takes to a relm of the appreciation of the jazz masters with mentions of Thelonious Monk and Charlie Parker. I must of blew some smoke on my laptop, cuz my Itunes kept taking me back to "Fair-ah Tales" on that pimp shit, and the crazy interegation of "CoCo"! Leave him alone! LOL! Shouts out to Jillzworth for her production efforts on "Feels So High". Hopefully Jillz will release an album so I can definitely feature that in this blog! Shouts out to Jillzworth! "Smoking Bowls Atop of Sears Tower" was one of my favorites cuz I could picture myself up on a mountain in Cali or just a place where no one can bother me, and just reflect on the world, personal shit, or just zone out ya know. I really love this album, and for those that really appreciate music...especially the J Dilla and Madlib lovers. Check out While I Was Curling My Blunt and hit Thesselonious up for a couple of hits...no pun intended! LOL! Now I need to curl a blunt....LOL!

From Amon Raw Records, check out featured artist, De', and their records "Say It Again" & "They Won't Act Right". "They Won't Act Right" has that instant head nod right when you press play, and the lyrical flow that makes you feel the record completely. "Say It Again" has that feel to when hip hop had that enjoyable gangsta feel. Like you can ride to it as well as enjoy it when it comes on at a party or club. This record reminded me of a Wu production, but only De' was coming at ya with that new sound with that O.G. feel.

Shouts out to Len Storm and Amon Raw Records.

For more info on Len Storm, checkout his websites as well: http://www.djlenstorm.blogspot.com/, www.reverbnation.com/lenstorm, and www.soundcloud.com/lenstorm.

ILL-It Records really gave me a good first impression, when I visted their website. Everything on their site is clickable and marketable at the same time! When I say marketable, they have a category with "Beats" for sale, as well as new music such as: "The Essembly Line" by ILL-iteracy. The record really sounds true, and I could see more hits coming from ILL-iteracy in the future. So check out their website and buy their hot beats yall! Shouts out to Chris Prythm! Check out his interview:

Now you know over the years Detroit has always had the great entertainers such as: Eminem, D-12, Royce Da 5'9, Slum Village, and the late great J. Dilla. Now its time to add another rapper to that list, and he goes by the name of Rah Flair. The smooth sounding "Detroit Nights" gives you an insight on how Detroit players roll. From the swag to the slang, Rah Flair tells it like it is for those that aint knowin'! Rah Flair has definitely kicked in the door and will be a force to be reckoned with. You don't believe me? Well check out his video "Move" and let him tell it like it is!

If yall are broke or going through hard times, go on over to "E. North Ave." and hang out with Kid Russell and friends. This is the kind of record that you can say yeah I may be broke, but I have some cool ass friends to kick it with! Also check out Kid Russell's "Rush Rock Remix" video as well. Who doesn't love the combo of rock and wrestling! I can see the WWE and TNA crowds rockin' to this! Check out both videos and let us know in the comments on how you like it!

Check out their new album "Backyard Heros" Website: www.kiddrussellmusic.com

Taking the indie world by storm, check out Team Prolific's "Getting Down". There are so many groups that have that rap/rock combo going on, but with "Getting Down" they let you know that they aint playin' and they aren't going anywhere! Their new EP, The Movement, is available on Itunes, and don't sleep on Team Prolific!

One of the biggest qualities that music listeners like about an artists is how much they can relate to them personally. Ohio native Profecys Child takes you into his own relm with his Visions of Love EP. The snippets from the upcoming album, shows you how universal and talented the artist is and he is not afraid to express his emotions in his music. Now "Gutter" really goes there with the hurt and pain, and the beat was catchy with the "SHUT YOUR MOUTH" LOL! Much success to Profecys Child, and check out his 1st single from Visions of Love, "Gutter"

There are few more January submissions left to blog, as well as a ton for February! So expect part 2 of New Music & New Info blog coming in a week or two!

Shouts out to Modelbook!

Happy New Year!: Ladies Run This Blog #2

First of all happy new year to all of the readers out there! 2010 was rough on everyone, but now it's 2011 and new beginnings and big things will happen! At first I was about to do a Christmas season ending blog, but I figured I would bring in the new year with some hot things that are going on. People have been saying or complaining about the lack of female emcees, or hating on Nicki Minaj. Well, females have really been on their grind lately, and so much as hit the surface at full force. That I had to make a new years special edition blog pt. 2

Speaking of big things! Late around the holiday season of 2010, a good friend of mine UCME2, hit me up and said check out this mixtape and she was bumpin' it all day! So she sent me the link, and I checked it out. Now let me tell yall, Rapsody: Return of The B-Girl, should be considered one of the dopest albums of the year. I don't know how an album this good is available for free! Hell I felt like Paypalin' Rapsody some money, just to let her now that I would of bought the album regardless! LOL! Straight out of North Carolina, this female emcee comes at you with true lyrics, and you have to playback her verses and say damn did she say that? Or just trip out over how she flowed on the records. I mean a brotha couldn't stop noddin'! The album featured collabos with: Big Daddy Kane, Rah Digga, Skyzoo, Laws, Thee Tom Hardy, Mac Miller, King Mez, and Phi Ade. Also production from the infamous 9th Wonder, Krysis, Ka$h, E. Jones, Amp, and Eric G. Check out DJBooth.net for the Return of the B-Girl album, also her webiste and Twitter for more info! Much respect and success to you Rapsody!

Lets see, who comes to mind when you think of female emcees and djs. Salt n Pepa, Spinderella, Queen Latifah, and many more right? Well The Cut Cafe presents to you, the livest duo to hit Ustream worldwide and straight out of Houston.... GOMCBEAUTY & GODJSupastar!

This dynamic duo sets off "Ladiez Nite" every Friday night at The Cut Cafe! MC Beauty keeps the crowd hyped up with her positive energy, and DJ Supastar keeps the crowd movin' on the dancefloor and everyone watching and streaming online! I tried to get that clip of DJ Supastar singin' on that one Ladiez Nite show, but I didn't want her to choke me through the screen! LOL! For more info about these two wonderful talented ladies, check out their twitters and websites. You can catch Ladiez Nite at The Cut Cafe on Ustream from 8pm-10pm EST every Friday. Shouts out to DJ Mocha, QT Pepsi, and Chocolate Kitten that represents for the ladies on Ladies Nite as well!

New Music Blog: Dysfunkshunal Familee "Familee Reunion" Album/Thesselonius "Gregory Issacs Tribute Podcast"/Maimouna Youssef - Village Undergeound "LIVE"

Wassup people! You know there has been so much going on musically lately, that I didn't know how to start this next blog! LOL! I mean with Lil Wayne just getting out of jail, to T.I. going back to jail its just too much for ya homie to deal with!

Now! the most heaviest anticipated album of the year has dropped, and Itunes has been going crazy with the album sales. That album is called "Familee Reunion" by Dysfunkshunal Famlee. CrazyDJBazarro, Amayss, DJ Skinny, and D-Rock are the members of Dysfunkshunal Familee. The group has been around since the early 90s, and they all went to high school together as well. Now they are back with one of the most dopest albums I have heard in a long time. It took me a minute to write this blog because I have been bumpin' the album since it dropped in late October. From records like "Separate Ways" ft. 5ft of Black Moon, "Just Keep Holding", and one of my favorites "Be A Star" ft. Agony definitely makes your head nod and appreciate true lyrics at its greatest. The album also features: Jean Grae, General Steele, OC, Craig G, PoisonPen, Agony, Larry Thomas, Supreme, 9th Wonder, Ced Tha Don, DaBeatminerz, Will Tell, Bundy of Finsta Bundy, and many more. The album is definitely worth buying yall so check it out at Itunes

***New Podcasts*** As you all know, reggae legend Gregory Issacs has passed away recently. One of Gregory's true listeners, and my friend Thesselonius compiled songs in his memory. "Red Roses For Gregory" came on when I first logged on to the site, and I just had to sit back at listen for a long time. You just can feel a good vibe when hearing the melody and Gregory's voice singing on the record. For more songs check out Thesselonius's podcast at: Podomatic

I can't wait to do a full blog on singer sensation, and grammy award nominee, Maimouna Youssef, aka Mu Mu Fresh. I have heard new music from her upcoming album, and maaaaan I can't even describe how great and lovely she sounds. I wish I could of seen her up in San Francisco, CA performing recently, but I couldn't make it. But! You guys can check this video out of one of her live performances, and catch more of MuMu on youtube. When her album drops, yall will definitely be the first to know and the blog will be huge!

***Updates*** More mixtape, new record labels, and album reviews coming soon! Hopefully I'll get a chance to travel soon, and check out some DJs in a city near you a blog about them.

Also a special shout out to the legendary, X-Ecutioners. Yes people they are back and will be on their world tour starting next month in December! Please check out the website for more details, as well as booking them and other artists from the Max Agency roster.

Peace and blessings

Videoblog: Ladies Run This Special Edition Ft. Gangalee "Opulence"/ DJ Mocha of UBB/ Sicnis

"Cuz opulence you own everything, and everything is yours!" These powerful words are said by Bronx's own Gangalee. Hip Hop media and fans say that there are no more female emcees left, well Gangalee proves them wrong with her latest video "Opulence". You can hear her pain, her struggle, as well as influence and strength in this record. For more info on Gangalee, check out Reverbnation for more records. Shouts out to Ganglee's DJ Erika B and Ladies Run This Radio! She is dope on the wheelz too! Now check out "Opulence" & "Mysterious" by Ganglee, and leave a comment letting us know what u think about the video. Enjoy!

Now when I first saw DJ Mocha aka Fedora McClaren aka Wonder Woman aka President Mocha, basically as you see she has several aliases lol! I saw a beautiful, sexy, intelligent sistah that loves her craft of dj'ing. When Mocha gets behind those turntables, its like you can tell she really feels the music as she blends, scratches, and sways her hips to the music! You can always check her out on Sundays on Ultimate Breaks & Beats. Shouts out to Breakbeat Lou and DJ Clear! Please check out the lovely DJ Mocha, and hola back about the videoclips, and let us know how u loved them.

The funniest thing on how I stumbled upon my next new and upcoming artists, Ms. Sic. On my Twitter, @GetThe411Nation, I was doing my Follow Friday shouts like I always do. Then I came across a spammers retweet, and then Ms. Sic's retweet. So I clicked on her profile, and her background as an artist, writer, radio-host, and performer really got my attention. So I spoke to her on twitter, and she is a cool down to earth person who is very passionate and strong about her songs. When she sent me two of her videos, her confidence and swag is so high in her performances, that you can tell she was built for the stage. The world will soon be ready to embrace her when she makes her debut. Please check out my good friend Ms. Sic, and spread the word about her because she is the next big thing in reggae/dancehall! UK stand up for ya gurl!

Ladies, follow your goals and dreams, and don't let this male dominated world bring you under. Women contribute so much, that as a man I really thank yall for standing by our sides and having our backs no matter what. Yall already know that women really hold the true power and rule. So raise your fists up in the air ladies and stay strong no matter what! Peaceeeee!

The Cut Cafe: Kool DJ Red Alert - "Tuesday Classic Collections"/DJ Mellstarr (KABOOM)/Top Dolla Raz

The power of the internet has always been said to be a gift, as well as a curse. Well with the grand opening of The Cut Cafe, the world aint ready for djs: Mellstarr, Dummy, and Boogieblind! The Cut Cafe has been open on Ustream for only a few weeks, and the line has been out the door with people dancing in the streets all morning and lunch hour. Not only does DJ Dummy wake us up with good music from The Breakfast Club, but now right after BClub DJ Mellstar has The Spin City Show!

**Inserts KABOOM sounds** Cuz all you are going to hear are atomic bomb noises and good music being played during the hours of 10a-12a est, M-F. There is no way of knowing what djs: Dummy, Boogieblind and Mellstarr have up their sleeves, but The Cut Cafe presented us with the biggest surprise ever!! Now presenting the newest member to the One Nation Radio family, and especially to The Cut Cafe, the legendary Kool DJ Red Alert!!!

When I first saw the tweets from The Cut Cafe about Kool DJ Red Alert's show last night, I couldn't wait to see one of the best legendary djs in the world do his thing in The Cut Cafe! This man has more energy then DJ Dummy, LV, and Eddie B. Swift combined! LOL! Red Alert was movin' to the beat and mixing so well that you had to watch and appreciate why the man enjoys what he does. Everyone in the chatroom was so happy to see Red play their favorite classic jams on his new show, "Tuesday Classic Collections". Also, you can catch Kool DJ Red Alert tonight again in The Cut Cafe from 9p-11p est, and again for "Throwback Thursdays" at the same time. I would like to say thank you to Kool DJ Red Alert for blessing us in The Cut Cafe, as well as over the years for blessing us with great music!  I can't wait to see what the cafe owners have next up their sleeves! I know Chocolate Kitten will let the world know on Twitter and Blackberry for what's in store!

I came across this new emcee named Top Dolla Raz from my good friend Muse of Oso Imaging. I expected to see another mixtape as most new artists, but the records that I listened too on his website were really impressive and had me noddin'. Its really good to hear an emcee with new and orignial production. Hell I was almost ready to click on that Itunes link and download the records, but I forgot I had no money in my Itunes account! LOL! "Be Gone" ft. Killa Kash had me noddin' with the dope lyrical flow and that jazzy/funk sound that will have you bouncin' in your whip or on the dancefloor. Now when I first heard "Dead" the music immediately made me want to put on my pimp hat, and mink coat. But if you listen to the lyrics its totally about something else. I could see Dead Prez on the remix of this song, cuz it reminded me of the group when I heard Top's lyrics. "SSDD" (Same Shit Different Day) reminds us of what we see everyday in our hood or block. Check out Itunes to purchase Top Dolla Raz's new album, The Narrative, and let me know in the comments what you think of the records and his album as well.

Stay tuned for more exciting blogs to come. Also check out Pinky's new video "Bad Bitch" I love me some Pinky! Shouts out to Noir Productions. Peace yall!

Labor Day: The Grind Continues....Iheartdilla.com/Mixtapes: Delko's American Psycho/Music and Modeling.com

First off I want to send shouts out to the Beatminerz DJs for a fantastic "Mixmaster's Weekend". All of the djs did there thing, and I really enjoyed DJ Flamboyant's set. Shouts out to his co-hosts, especially Bosslady, cuz she had it going on! Also, I enjoyed LV's set, and that was my first time watching. Maaaan, he has so much energy and he was going in so hard on his set, you just had to watch in amazement and respect the homie on his selections of music. If you guys would like to be apart of the One Nation Radio movement, and support great music and djs check out the Aries's Links on the homepage for show info.

Now what can I say about Jessica aka Iheartdilla! I have a lot of respect for this woman, because she plays a vital role with the movement of underground hip hop and music period. Everytime I go to her website at: Iheartdilla.com, its like going shopping at Wal Mart and coming out with so much information. Such as: new artists, events, music, interviews, and even clothing apparel to buy. You just don't know when to stop! Oh Jess if you are reading this I still plan on buying that Payola shirt! I saw Bazarro on air wearing one and I said ok I have to buy me one! LOL! So while you guys are chillin' this Labor Day, check out Iheartdilla's site and support her to the fullest! Also, keep J Dilla's memory alive by playing his music everyday, even letting others know the deep impact he still has on hip hop.

Mixtapes: Check out Delko's latest mixtape "American Psycho" on DatPiff.com. I was feeling records such as "Warriors Call", "Gone", "Mayor", and "Psycho". I know Delko has more music out there, cuz if American Psycho is good then you know there is more to come! Also leave a comment after reading the blog to lets us know what you think of his mixtape as well.

I was really impressed when reading the bio for Music and Modeling, because I knew when I clicked on their website: http://www.musicandmodeling.com/, that I was going to see a lot of talent on their site. They have info ranging from: jobs, talent, featured artists, and buzzworthy clips of hot artists in the game. So for those that are standing in front of their mirror singing, rapping, or even in the shower too! LOL! Check out their website, and connect to their Facebook as well. Your dreams will come true!!

***Updates*** You can expect more mixtape blogs from me. I have been keeping an eye on my new followers, as well as those tweets I see on Twitter. So don't think I'm sleeping or not noticing you guys, but there are so many artists out there and I'm keeping my ears and eyes open always.

Also I will be having my own show on Ustream very soon, maybe by the end of this month or the beginning of October. I may call it Club Aries, but if yall want to suggest names just leave it in the comments and I will definitely check them out!

Until next time...Peace!
