New Music Blog: Dysfunkshunal Familee "Familee Reunion" Album/Thesselonius "Gregory Issacs Tribute Podcast"/Maimouna Youssef - Village Undergeound "LIVE"

Wassup people! You know there has been so much going on musically lately, that I didn't know how to start this next blog! LOL! I mean with Lil Wayne just getting out of jail, to T.I. going back to jail its just too much for ya homie to deal with!

Now! the most heaviest anticipated album of the year has dropped, and Itunes has been going crazy with the album sales. That album is called "Familee Reunion" by Dysfunkshunal Famlee. CrazyDJBazarro, Amayss, DJ Skinny, and D-Rock are the members of Dysfunkshunal Familee. The group has been around since the early 90s, and they all went to high school together as well. Now they are back with one of the most dopest albums I have heard in a long time. It took me a minute to write this blog because I have been bumpin' the album since it dropped in late October. From records like "Separate Ways" ft. 5ft of Black Moon, "Just Keep Holding", and one of my favorites "Be A Star" ft. Agony definitely makes your head nod and appreciate true lyrics at its greatest. The album also features: Jean Grae, General Steele, OC, Craig G, PoisonPen, Agony, Larry Thomas, Supreme, 9th Wonder, Ced Tha Don, DaBeatminerz, Will Tell, Bundy of Finsta Bundy, and many more. The album is definitely worth buying yall so check it out at Itunes

***New Podcasts*** As you all know, reggae legend Gregory Issacs has passed away recently. One of Gregory's true listeners, and my friend Thesselonius compiled songs in his memory. "Red Roses For Gregory" came on when I first logged on to the site, and I just had to sit back at listen for a long time. You just can feel a good vibe when hearing the melody and Gregory's voice singing on the record. For more songs check out Thesselonius's podcast at: Podomatic

I can't wait to do a full blog on singer sensation, and grammy award nominee, Maimouna Youssef, aka Mu Mu Fresh. I have heard new music from her upcoming album, and maaaaan I can't even describe how great and lovely she sounds. I wish I could of seen her up in San Francisco, CA performing recently, but I couldn't make it. But! You guys can check this video out of one of her live performances, and catch more of MuMu on youtube. When her album drops, yall will definitely be the first to know and the blog will be huge!

***Updates*** More mixtape, new record labels, and album reviews coming soon! Hopefully I'll get a chance to travel soon, and check out some DJs in a city near you a blog about them.

Also a special shout out to the legendary, X-Ecutioners. Yes people they are back and will be on their world tour starting next month in December! Please check out the website for more details, as well as booking them and other artists from the Max Agency roster.

Peace and blessings

Videoblog: Ladies Run This Special Edition Ft. Gangalee "Opulence"/ DJ Mocha of UBB/ Sicnis

"Cuz opulence you own everything, and everything is yours!" These powerful words are said by Bronx's own Gangalee. Hip Hop media and fans say that there are no more female emcees left, well Gangalee proves them wrong with her latest video "Opulence". You can hear her pain, her struggle, as well as influence and strength in this record. For more info on Gangalee, check out Reverbnation for more records. Shouts out to Ganglee's DJ Erika B and Ladies Run This Radio! She is dope on the wheelz too! Now check out "Opulence" & "Mysterious" by Ganglee, and leave a comment letting us know what u think about the video. Enjoy!

Now when I first saw DJ Mocha aka Fedora McClaren aka Wonder Woman aka President Mocha, basically as you see she has several aliases lol! I saw a beautiful, sexy, intelligent sistah that loves her craft of dj'ing. When Mocha gets behind those turntables, its like you can tell she really feels the music as she blends, scratches, and sways her hips to the music! You can always check her out on Sundays on Ultimate Breaks & Beats. Shouts out to Breakbeat Lou and DJ Clear! Please check out the lovely DJ Mocha, and hola back about the videoclips, and let us know how u loved them.

The funniest thing on how I stumbled upon my next new and upcoming artists, Ms. Sic. On my Twitter, @GetThe411Nation, I was doing my Follow Friday shouts like I always do. Then I came across a spammers retweet, and then Ms. Sic's retweet. So I clicked on her profile, and her background as an artist, writer, radio-host, and performer really got my attention. So I spoke to her on twitter, and she is a cool down to earth person who is very passionate and strong about her songs. When she sent me two of her videos, her confidence and swag is so high in her performances, that you can tell she was built for the stage. The world will soon be ready to embrace her when she makes her debut. Please check out my good friend Ms. Sic, and spread the word about her because she is the next big thing in reggae/dancehall! UK stand up for ya gurl!

Ladies, follow your goals and dreams, and don't let this male dominated world bring you under. Women contribute so much, that as a man I really thank yall for standing by our sides and having our backs no matter what. Yall already know that women really hold the true power and rule. So raise your fists up in the air ladies and stay strong no matter what! Peaceeeee!

The Cut Cafe: Kool DJ Red Alert - "Tuesday Classic Collections"/DJ Mellstarr (KABOOM)/Top Dolla Raz

The power of the internet has always been said to be a gift, as well as a curse. Well with the grand opening of The Cut Cafe, the world aint ready for djs: Mellstarr, Dummy, and Boogieblind! The Cut Cafe has been open on Ustream for only a few weeks, and the line has been out the door with people dancing in the streets all morning and lunch hour. Not only does DJ Dummy wake us up with good music from The Breakfast Club, but now right after BClub DJ Mellstar has The Spin City Show!

**Inserts KABOOM sounds** Cuz all you are going to hear are atomic bomb noises and good music being played during the hours of 10a-12a est, M-F. There is no way of knowing what djs: Dummy, Boogieblind and Mellstarr have up their sleeves, but The Cut Cafe presented us with the biggest surprise ever!! Now presenting the newest member to the One Nation Radio family, and especially to The Cut Cafe, the legendary Kool DJ Red Alert!!!

When I first saw the tweets from The Cut Cafe about Kool DJ Red Alert's show last night, I couldn't wait to see one of the best legendary djs in the world do his thing in The Cut Cafe! This man has more energy then DJ Dummy, LV, and Eddie B. Swift combined! LOL! Red Alert was movin' to the beat and mixing so well that you had to watch and appreciate why the man enjoys what he does. Everyone in the chatroom was so happy to see Red play their favorite classic jams on his new show, "Tuesday Classic Collections". Also, you can catch Kool DJ Red Alert tonight again in The Cut Cafe from 9p-11p est, and again for "Throwback Thursdays" at the same time. I would like to say thank you to Kool DJ Red Alert for blessing us in The Cut Cafe, as well as over the years for blessing us with great music!  I can't wait to see what the cafe owners have next up their sleeves! I know Chocolate Kitten will let the world know on Twitter and Blackberry for what's in store!

I came across this new emcee named Top Dolla Raz from my good friend Muse of Oso Imaging. I expected to see another mixtape as most new artists, but the records that I listened too on his website were really impressive and had me noddin'. Its really good to hear an emcee with new and orignial production. Hell I was almost ready to click on that Itunes link and download the records, but I forgot I had no money in my Itunes account! LOL! "Be Gone" ft. Killa Kash had me noddin' with the dope lyrical flow and that jazzy/funk sound that will have you bouncin' in your whip or on the dancefloor. Now when I first heard "Dead" the music immediately made me want to put on my pimp hat, and mink coat. But if you listen to the lyrics its totally about something else. I could see Dead Prez on the remix of this song, cuz it reminded me of the group when I heard Top's lyrics. "SSDD" (Same Shit Different Day) reminds us of what we see everyday in our hood or block. Check out Itunes to purchase Top Dolla Raz's new album, The Narrative, and let me know in the comments what you think of the records and his album as well.

Stay tuned for more exciting blogs to come. Also check out Pinky's new video "Bad Bitch" I love me some Pinky! Shouts out to Noir Productions. Peace yall!

Labor Day: The Grind Continues....Iheartdilla.com/Mixtapes: Delko's American Psycho/Music and Modeling.com

First off I want to send shouts out to the Beatminerz DJs for a fantastic "Mixmaster's Weekend". All of the djs did there thing, and I really enjoyed DJ Flamboyant's set. Shouts out to his co-hosts, especially Bosslady, cuz she had it going on! Also, I enjoyed LV's set, and that was my first time watching. Maaaan, he has so much energy and he was going in so hard on his set, you just had to watch in amazement and respect the homie on his selections of music. If you guys would like to be apart of the One Nation Radio movement, and support great music and djs check out the Aries's Links on the homepage for show info.

Now what can I say about Jessica aka Iheartdilla! I have a lot of respect for this woman, because she plays a vital role with the movement of underground hip hop and music period. Everytime I go to her website at: Iheartdilla.com, its like going shopping at Wal Mart and coming out with so much information. Such as: new artists, events, music, interviews, and even clothing apparel to buy. You just don't know when to stop! Oh Jess if you are reading this I still plan on buying that Payola shirt! I saw Bazarro on air wearing one and I said ok I have to buy me one! LOL! So while you guys are chillin' this Labor Day, check out Iheartdilla's site and support her to the fullest! Also, keep J Dilla's memory alive by playing his music everyday, even letting others know the deep impact he still has on hip hop.

Mixtapes: Check out Delko's latest mixtape "American Psycho" on DatPiff.com. I was feeling records such as "Warriors Call", "Gone", "Mayor", and "Psycho". I know Delko has more music out there, cuz if American Psycho is good then you know there is more to come! Also leave a comment after reading the blog to lets us know what you think of his mixtape as well.

I was really impressed when reading the bio for Music and Modeling, because I knew when I clicked on their website: http://www.musicandmodeling.com/, that I was going to see a lot of talent on their site. They have info ranging from: jobs, talent, featured artists, and buzzworthy clips of hot artists in the game. So for those that are standing in front of their mirror singing, rapping, or even in the shower too! LOL! Check out their website, and connect to their Facebook as well. Your dreams will come true!!

***Updates*** You can expect more mixtape blogs from me. I have been keeping an eye on my new followers, as well as those tweets I see on Twitter. So don't think I'm sleeping or not noticing you guys, but there are so many artists out there and I'm keeping my ears and eyes open always.

Also I will be having my own show on Ustream very soon, maybe by the end of this month or the beginning of October. I may call it Club Aries, but if yall want to suggest names just leave it in the comments and I will definitely check them out!

Until next time...Peace!

What's Hot???? Wiz Khalifa/Black Pawn Music (Chaz Hall)/Kronis The ILL

***Update*** First of all I know I promised you guys a "What's Hot" review every week of new artists, but due to new artists and folks following on my twitter page, @GetThe411Nation, now I'm going to be doing alot of music reviewing. Also I may review one to four artists at a time, so hold your horses folks you will definitely see more of this blog but not every week! LOL!

I kept hearing the buzz about an emcee named Wiz Khalifa, and MTV Jams kept playing his video called "The Plane" The video was cool, until my homie Bryant Pryor put me on to Wiz's mixtape: Kush & Orange Juice. Wiz's flow reminds me of a west coast emcee, even though he is from Pittsburgh, PA. For those that love to get high, this is the perfect mixtape to relate too. My favorites include: "Up", "Mesmorized",
and "Never Been". Check these videos out!

When I first logged on to Black Pawn Music's website, the instrumental will definitely have you noddin' and anticipating more music to be heard. Shouts out to PSP (Pawn Structure Productions), whose influences are: Pete Rock, DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, and the late great J. Dilla. Check out PSP's website for more music info, and I feel you will hear more from PSP in the future. Check out and follow Chaz Hall on Facebook as well Here is one of their productions: Miranda - Repentant.

Straight out of Philly, he is a member of the internationally known The Breakfast Club, and one of my homies. He goes by the name of Kronis the ILL! I can't even begin to explain his style of production when it comes to music, cuz yall know how Philly cats come from the soul with their music. In The Breakfast Club one morning we have this music segment of our show called Music Idol, and the BCLUB members all vote to see if they like songs that are sent in and played by our host DJ Dummy. When DJ Dummy played this record that Kronis sent in, all you heard were positive reactions from everyone in the chatroom. I knew then and there that Kronis will make a positive impact in hip hop music. Check out Kronis the ILL's "Off The Wall" production of one of the pop music king's, Michael Jackson's greatest hits.  Much success to you Kronis, and keep puttin' out those hits homie!

There are more underground and independent artists out there that are unheard of and unsigned, but don't worry cuz Aries will hook yall up with all the 411! Peace!

Sista Stroke - Live Long & Freak Freely!

Seems like it was only yesterday when I was in The Breakfast Club one morning, and I was side chatted by a fascinating sexy woman who wanted to know more info about the BClub to write up a blog about us. So I gave her the e-mail address to the dugout cuz it was in the room actually lol, and from there Sista Stroke has become one of the most loved and one of the most greatest djs to represent One Nation Radio & Da Beatminerz DJs.

Freak Freely Friday's is a show on Ustream, brought to us by SistaStroke and broadcasted all the way from the UK via London! I don't know how she does it with her gigs and doing her shows too, but hey yall her love for house music is strong and listeners worldwide love her music as well. Also you can catch her every Wednesday at 7pm GMT at: http://chicagohousefm.co.uk/, on Chicago House FM.

Also, Sista Stroke creates the most bomb remixes that I have ever heard in house music. If you would like to hear her records, just check her site and enjoy: http://soundcloud.com/sista-stroke.

I truly love her music and she is a great friend as well. Much love and success to you Sista Stroke, and shouts out to her hubby and fellow dj MrHun. He has some hot music as well! Happy Anniversary you guys!

Da Beatminerz Radio DJs - The Aftermath (San Diego, CA)

Da Beatminerz might as well make me their newest west coast Booze Bros. lol! Because last night I was gone off that Jack Daniels & Coke, and DJ Skinny, CrazydjBazarro, and DJ Wayneski really brought down the house last night! Thank you Rob Da Muscle for making sure my glass stayed full, and you showed me how Da Booze Bros have a good time and keep the waitresses moving! LOL!

I arrived at U-31 around 9:30pm, and it was my first time there as well. When I first walked in I thought it was the perfect setting for the show, and I knew it was going to be a full house that night. Trackstar the DJ opened up with his set before Da Beatminerz and he did a really good job holding it down. Then just after 10:30pm, here comes Da Beatminerz walking through the door and they looked ready to show San Diego why they were here!

Now instead of me telling you every move they made, even Baz's signature "awesome dj Bazarro" growl that he plays on Ustream every week, hell they even played the preacher!! Naw they didn't play the preacher there lmao! I don't think San Diego can handle the preacher just yet! I can see Baz & Ski doing a comedy set tour around the world just playing the preacher, and laughing their asses off with drinks like they do on Da Booze Bros. Shouts out to LISAMAX cuz that was her idea by the way!

Ok yall, DJ Skinny opened up first with his set. Now this dude can go all night long! I wouldn't pick a perfect dj to start in with the crowd than Skinny. Matter of fact let me show you how he got the crowd hyped up at Club U-31. First off, your homie aint ballin' so I don't have one of them high def cameras and shit, but like Wayneski said to me after the show, "We aint on no sexy shit my nigga, cuz this is how we do it all the time!" So here yall go with my HP digi cam with no lighting, and enjoy the clips

Damn! Did yall see that shit! I wish I had more memory sticks for my cam to record the whole thing, but if I did yall would be paying $29.99 per dvd! Of course Da Beatminerz would get all the profit though! lol!

Now it's time for the "awesome dj Bazarroooooo" (plays the growl insert). I can't growl like that yall, and it's not sexy so... Anyway! Baz was up next after Skinny, and let me say Baz really went in on his set! Everyone gathered around the stage in anticipation, then folks started pop lockin' and have dance battles in the audience. I was like oh shit, North Park knows how to get down, and I don't even kick it over here on this side! lol! Ok enjoy yall......

Maaaan, this dude right here! Now yall know Wayneski! he aint on no Hollywood shit, aint on no sexy shit with either. He is a humble dude and you can tell he was ready to give the crowd what they came for! SKI played so much good west coast shit, I had to look at the homie again like you sure you aint from Compton? I mean he played Snoop, Cube, and Tha Eastsiderz, and I was up onstage two steppin' feelin' all gangsta and thangs! lol! My favorite was his Wu-tang set though, and the crowd went crazy like they were about to throw ninja stars and pull out Shaolin swords and shit! Now you know SKI had to play one of his current favorite records, E-40's "Biaaaaaaatch". SKI transformed into another dude when he put that song on, and he had the crowd all saying "don't be a biatchhhhhhhh!" LOL! Ok enjoy.......

I was mad cuz that last clip was the best and I didn't have enough memory!

Once again, I really appreciate you guys coming down to San Diego, and yall inspired me to keep doing what I do or shall I say what I will be doing soon on the dj side of things again. Also it was cool to see a New Yorker after the show, and he spoke to Da Beatminerz and was really glad they came. It was like he felt that they brought Brooklyn to San Diego, and he loved them for that. Thank yall for a good nite, and you know your west coast homie slash Booze Brotha got yall forever! Next time yall fly into LA, I'm gonna head up there for Roscoe's damnit! LOL!

Peaceeeeeee!

What's Hot???? League510 - To The Beat "Town Techno"

Once again I bring to you what is hot in today's music. It was late Sunday night going into early Monday morning, and I was up on twitter as usual just checking out some tweets before I went to sleep. Then all of the sudden I started to pay attention to Clear Label's tweets in my timeline. For those that don't know, Clear Label is ran by Tajai Massey of the legendary Hieroglyphics crew from East Oakland, CA. Now I was reading their tweets, and I saw a tweet about their artist League510, and their latest record "To The Beat". Now being I'm from the Bay Area, Richmond, CA, and I have always been an underground head since forever. I decided to watch the video for To The Beat.

I must say that I was really inpressed when I watched and listened to their video. When listening to the record, it automatically makes you want to dance. I mean not like in a hyphy type of way, and not to disrespect the hyphy movement because I love it but this record really had a positive vibe to it.

Also, one of the members from League510 was up around that time tweeting as well, and I had a chance to chop it up with him about their music and hip hop in general. The groups main focus is making people want to dance and feel good, and with their "out of this world" sound League510 will definitely not disappoint their fans!

The group seems very pleased and excited to work with Tajai and Clear Label on their project as well as others to come. Now I know if Tajai is running things over their at Clear Label, then nothing but hot music will be bumpin' all over the Bay Area and worldwide! I had a chance to meet Tajai and Opio before their show down here in San Diego, CA, and they are very down to earth and cool homies. Shouts out to the rest of Souls of Mischief and go buy their latest album, Montezuma's Revenge.

League510 has a mixtape currently out and they wanted me to spread the word as well. The mixtape is called Invasion Vol. 1, and its available for download at: http://b9s.n.0sp.in/. The mixtape has some good ass records such as: "In My Face" (Had me saying womp womp too! LOL), the melodic and laid back Reaquainted, the gorilla in the trunk bumpin' Simple Things, and of course To The Beat.

For more information about League510, you can contact them on twitter: @League510. Also for more info about their show appearances or info about Hieroglyphics, check out @CLEARLABEL on twitter as well.

Much respect to League510 and Clear Label Records. Now check out their videos for To The Beat, and I'm On and let me know how yall like them in the comments section. Hell I need to be on one too, after seeing them party like that! Don't try that pillow slidin' down the stairs shit either! My brother and I used to do that when we were little, and busted our heads wide open! LOL! Until next time, peace outttt!

The Marathon Man! Eddie B. Swift - DJ'd 24 Hours Straight Last Weekend!

Now I have seen dj's do some crazy things in all of my years of living, but maaaan come on....dj'ing for 24 hours? You guys will have to see it to believe it, and I do believe this was recorded live as well. Also, I was in the room to witness this for the 2nd time, and Eddie B. Swift does live up to his name as the marathon man!

I had my Starbucks Vanilla Doubleshot energy drink in hand, cuz I wanted to see Eddie do his thing behind the wheelz live and not fall asleep! LOL! Now Eddie had already started at 12 noon est. on Saturday, and I came in about 11pm pst. my time, and Eddie was doing his thing and shouting out folks in chat. Eddie probably has a big ass hard drive, cuz he kept going all morning non stop playing everything from Dr. Dre, De La Soul, you name it and he played it!! I said to Eddie in the chatroom that if I were him, I would have a recliner behind the TTs and scratch with one hand lol! Well, you can't blame me for trying guys!

The last hour was coming to a close, and folks were cheering Eddie on, as 12pm est. Sunday finally came and went! Breakbeat Lou, Brownebabe, Onyx Queen, Badboysoul, and alot of supporters congratulated Eddie for his accomplishment of dj'ing for 24 hours straight! He did say that he doesn't know when he will do it again, but he knows that One Nation Radio and his fans definitely has his back!

Salute to you Eddie B. Swift! Hopefully now you are well rested, and you can do a 48 hour show? I know he's saying yeah right? LOL!

Also, you can catch Eddie on Ustream during his showtimes at: http://www.ustream.tv/user/eddiebswift Also for more info and updates you can hit him up on twitter as well: @eddiebswift. Shouts out to Ramel! Peace Yall!
